NOJO is proud to be produced in the Cotswolds, where all the energy that powers our factory comes from renewable sources. We monitor and minimise water usage and use biodegradable shrink wrap, recycled cardboard, and avoid using plastic. Our label is made from forest film, our lid is aluminum, and our bottle is made from 30% recycled material. For loose deliveries, we use biofill made out of cornstarch that's fully dissolvable in water.

We rely on traditional methods to ensure our products stay fresh. By carefully balancing the pH levels using natural ingredients like vinegar and salt—just like how your grandma would make pickles—we achieve a naturally long shelf life. It’s a simple, effective way to keep our sauces as pure and flavourful as possible.

Locally-Sourced Rapeseed Oil

At NOJO, we use cold-pressed rapeseed oil, sourced directly from local UK producers. This choice not only supports local agriculture but also reduces our environmental impact by cutting down on transportation emissions.

One of the key reasons we use cold-pressed rapeseed oil is itshigh smoke pointof 230°C, making it ideal for everything from stir-fries to roasting. Unlike olive oil, which can break down and lose nutritional value at high temperatures, rapeseed oil maintains its integrity, ensuring your dishes stay healthy and delicious​.
